Dance Base is the home of dance at the Fringe with an inspiring and eclectic line up of 39 shows, from 36 companies from 12 countries.  

We’re looking to expand our marketing capacity during August and appoint Marketing Support Assistants to help us. We’ll pay £10 per hour, give you free access to all Dance Base shows and work flexibility to find shift patterns that suit you. Tasks include (but not limited to)  
 
Promoting shows directly to the public 

- Working mostly in front of Dance Base and on the Grassmarket and talking to people about the Dance Base programme  

Distribution of promotional material

- Distributing Dance Base print to and within our partner venues, including local cafes and bars.

Display around the Dance Base building 

- Help to ensure that the pend area is fully up to date with show posters, and reviews as they come in
- Ensure that mini guides always available in front of Dance Base  

Marketing support

Provide additional support to the marketing and communications team as required through the festival
