Dance Base is closely monitoring Scottish Government guidance regarding Covid 19 and putting several measures in place to ensure the health, safety and confidence of our staff, teachers and participants.
We would recommend you arrive no earlier than 20 minutes before your class is due to begin to minimise the number of people in the building at any one time and to allow everybody plenty of space.
We are backing the ‘Distance Aware’ scheme, respecting individuals who would still choose to continue social distancing or taking additional precautions in public spaces to feel safe. Click here to find out more about Distance Aware.
You must wear a face covering in all shared spaces in the building, including entering and exiting the building. You do not need to wear a face covering during your class.
Please arrive as prepared for class as possible to minimise the use of the changing rooms.
Please bring your own water bottle to class – our drinking fountain can only be used to refill a bottle.
If you are attending a Pilates, Yoga, Stretch or Flow class please bring your own mat and props where possible. There will be a limited number of mats and props to borrow in the studio, and we ask that you clean them well with the materials provided at the end of class.
Our timetable continues to facilitate 15 minute breaks between each class, to allow people to leave and arrive, air to circulate and regular cleaning of touchpoints in the space.
Cleaning materials will be provided in each space for you to use if you wish and hand sanitising points are available throughout the building.
We will continue to ensure adequate ventilation in all of our studio spaces. As such, our studio temperatures can vary depending on the outside weather. Please bring additional layers with you to keep warm and make sure you warm up fully to reduce the risk of injury.
This guidance is as of 30/03/2022 and will remain in place until Dance Base chooses to amend these details and/or further updates from the government are issued, which will then supersede this guidance.
